(#194): Current Offers, Advertisers, and Observations #5 - As of 9.17.2023

This is the 5th post regarding current CDLX offers, advertisers, and observations, with today’s post containing data as of 9.17.2023.

Since the last post on 9.11.2023, there have been:

  • Many new observations

  • New advertisers in the channel

  • Changes in total offers

  • Large redemptions

  • New job listings and new hires

  • And more

I provide details, screenshots, and commentary on all of these in the post below.

You will also find data, observations, statistics, and screenshots of CDLX offers and advertisers across Chase, BofA, Wells, and U.S. Bank.

I created this for my own benefit, but I thought others would find value out of it as well.

My plan is to update this on an ongoing basis, for the list of reasons below.

The purpose of this post is to:

  • Track and identify changes to the new user experience across all major banks

  • Identify new offer constructs (like product-level offers, multi-tier offers, and more)

  • Identify changes in images and offer formats (by including images of each offer below)

  • Track current offers and advertisers, as well as their amount of $ or % cash back

  • Track and identify new offers and advertisers

  • Track top advertisers

  • Track number of unique advertisers

  • Track max and average cash-back % and $

  • Identify differences in number of offers by bank and usage (based on previous dollars redeemed + if primary card used for spending)

To capture the above information, below you will find:

  1. Summary of Findings

  2. New Advertisers in the Channel

  3. Max and Average Cash-Back % and $

  4. New Observations (New Offer Constructs, New Features, and More)

  5. Total Offers by Category

  6. Number of Unique Advertisers by Category

  7. Top Advertisers

  8. Statistics by Bank Account: New UI Status / $’s Redeemed / Number of Offers in Total and by Category

    1. + Changes in Total Number of CDLX Offers

    2. + Changes in Redemptions

  9. List of Advertisers ($ / % Amounts by Bank Account)
