(#197): Current Offers, Advertisers, and Observations #8 - As of 10.10.2023

This is the 8th post regarding current CDLX offers, advertisers, and observations, with today’s post containing data as of 10.10.2023.

Since the last post on 9.30.2023, there have been:

  • Many new observations (this post may have the most observations in a single post, including some big ones that I’ve been excited to share, such as related to 2023 revenue)

  • New advertisers in the channel (including those that could impact ARPU in Q4)

  • Changes in total offers (including increases in a specific category to a level not seen recently, and different trends with different cards)

  • Changes in web traffic

  • More redemptions

  • New job listings and updates on past changes (and which relates to potential new financial institution partners)

I provide details, screenshots, and commentary on all of these items in the post below, as well as additional data, observations, and statistics of CDLX offers and advertisers across Chase, BofA, Wells, and U.S. Bank.

The purpose of this post is to:

  • Track current offers and advertisers, as well as their amount of $ or % cash back

  • Track and identify new offers and advertisers

  • Track top advertisers

  • Track number of unique advertisers

  • Track max and average cash-back % and $

  • Track jobs listings and employee count

  • Watch web traffic trends and new advertisers / banks via traffic

  • Track and identify changes to the new user experience across all major banks

  • Identify new offer constructs (like product-level offers, multi-tier offers, and more)

  • Identify changes in images and offer formats (by including images of each offer below)

  • Identify differences in number of offers by bank and usage (based on previous dollars redeemed + if primary card used for spending)
